Something was amiss, that she knew for a 99% chance fact. Surely her best hope would understand that fact as much as she did? Provided... She was truly awake.

Yukari hadn’t been sleeping as of yet; truthfully she was in the middle of trying to figure out her calculus, sitting in the floor of her room with her back propped up against the bed. It wasn’t exactly the most thrilling evening, but she was doing her best. At least she was until the sound of her door opening caught her attention. [break][break]
The homework was practically a distant memory when she actually got up and met Aegis at the door, expression concerned at the turn of events. Koromaru was missing? Then what were they waiting for?? [break][break]
“Yeah, of course, we can go search around for him together.” She didn’t want to waste any time, feeling her apprehension rise both because of her own worry and the concern that Aegis most certainly felt. “When was the last time you saw him?” [break][break]
She made her way out of the bedroom, letting the door swing shut behind her with a gentle thud. Usually making a game plan would be better for a situation like this, but Yukari was more about being slightly impulsive; the sooner they got out to the park, the sooner they’d be able to track him down after all. Questions burned her database engines as she continued scanning alleyways and trashcans. Empty. If they were lucky, they'd find him by the time it gets dark. Those words spun around her head like a broken record. Could it take so long to find someone? Was there nothing to do to make their chances of discovery higher? What terrible fates to have struck in the night. [break][break] "Scanning possible locations. Park. Grocery store. Movie theater. Park. School. Ken's house. Likelihood of places ranging from fifty four to seventy eight percent. Nothing located for higher probability." She felt the sudden urge to curse. Engine heating up in her chest and skin metallic skin lightly agitated. Analysis, anxiety. Her? The likelihood is almost zero percent. Yet her scans come back with nothing else of likely probability. They needed to find him soon. Better for her rationality. "Let us try the park, Yukari-san."

One thing Yukari had to admit from the start was that Aegis was incredibly thorough; even if she hadn’t come looking for her help, the cyborg definitely already had a game plan set up to track down their companion. Though since it hadn’t yielded any success yet...Yukari couldn’t help the worry that now settled in the pit of her stomach. Where could he have been? Was he okay? Did he find a nice husky and they ran off together? The questions were unending, and they were threatening to give the female a headache. She’d deal with that later, though. Finding Koromaru was their top priority first. [break][break]
“How about we try the park first? Maybe he’s just out playing with some of his friends and he lost track of time.” Yukari knew that could be a possibility, but it hadn’t happened any time before then. It was better to be hopeful than to run the risk of worrying the Aeon beside her anymore than she already was; it was unusual for her to show so much emotion, but it wasn’t an unwelcome change. Yukari actually thought it was good that she was embracing some of her more human tendencies.
She’d been following Aegis’ lead up until this point but she decided to take the lead here, offering an encouraging smile to try and lift the blonde’s worries off of her shoulders. The least she could do was try and calm her down, right? [break][break]
